Thalia Jewelry designer Rachel Clinnick’s inspiration stems from the Fashion House of Fortuny. Designer Mariano Fortuny presented many talents such as painting, photography, sculpting, architecture, and etching but among those his most notable achievement of all was his strong infatuation with and dedication to fashion. Fortuny rebelled against the styles that were largely popular during his time period and focused on vivid colors, pleated hemlines, and Grecian silhouettes. His opulence in the modern era combined with timeless design is his signature. Rachel describes the House of Fortuny as iconic for all things luxury, art and design. She draws huge inspiration from their color scheme and draws from it closely in her current collection. “I just think Mariano was a master of his craft.” – Rachel Clinnick
