Our very own designer Rachel Clinnick draws so much of her inspiration from art history. Growing up in a house where old world craftsmanship was profoundly appreciated, she continues to carry that philosophy and aesthetic into her designs. Her favorite Dutch painter, Vermeer, created Girl with a Pearl Earring, one of Rachel’s first jewelry influences. Girl with a Pearl Earring can be seen amongst many other amazing paintings from the Royal Picture Gallery Mauritshuis, The Hague, at our very own de Young Museum from January 26th- June. Our version of the pearl earring was featured in JCK Magazine.
